Paradajs Photo Fest Opens in Banská Štiavnica with Exhibitions in Unconventional Venues

The historic mining town of Banská Štiavnica will transform into a center of contemporary photography as the third edition of Paradajs Photo Fest opens tomorrow for its inaugural weekend from June 5-7. The festival will feature 17 exhibitions and site-specific installations displayed in unconventional locations throughout the city, including a gymnasium. Banská Štiavnica, a UNESCO World Heritage site in central Slovakia known for its medieval mining history, has established itself as an emerging cultural destination through events like this photography festival that blend contemporary art with the town's historic architecture.
