The ornamental garden at the historic manor house in Modra is beginning to come to life following its recent revitalization. The garden once served as a retreat for high-ranking state official Arthur Polzer before later being used by a viticultural and horticultural school. Modra is a small town in western Slovakia known for its wine production and ceramic traditions, located in the Bratislava region about 30 kilometers northeast of the capital.
