Road repairs between Košice districts completed ahead of schedule

The National Motorway Company (NDS) completed road surface repairs on the I/16 highway between the Košice districts of Pereš and Poľov more than a week ahead of schedule. The repairs in the direction toward Rožňava were finished in half the originally planned time thanks to round-the-clock work schedules. Traffic restrictions on this section have been lifted, and construction equipment and temporary traffic signs are now being moved to work on the opposite direction of the road near the village of Poľov. The National Motorway Company is Slovakia's state-owned enterprise responsible for managing and maintaining the country's highway infrastructure.
