Košice Approves Funding for Road and Sidewalk Repairs

The Košice city council approved funding for road and sidewalk repairs during its Tuesday session. The council, which serves as the legislative body for Slovakia's second-largest city, also authorized the submission of applications for non-refundable financial contributions from European Union funds to implement two municipal projects. The EU funding would support infrastructure development in the eastern Slovak city, which serves as a regional economic center.
