Slovakia midfielder Leo Sauer leaves national team camp with muscle injury

Slovakia midfielder Leo Sauer has departed the national team training camp after suffering a muscle injury during the country's World Cup qualifying playoff semifinal against Kosovo on Thursday. The 20-year-old winger was injured near the end of the first half and was substituted by Tomáš Suslov. Slovakia is competing in the UEFA playoff system for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held jointly in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
