Košice Public Transport Company Opens Modernized Depot and Washing Center

The Public Transport Company of the City of Košice (DPMK) has officially opened its modernized depot and new washing facility on Bardejovská Street after several days of final inspections. City officials and DPMK management announced Monday that the facility, described as the most modern depot in the former Czechoslovakia, has transitioned from trial operations to full official service. The upgraded infrastructure represents a significant modernization of Košice's public transportation maintenance capabilities, bringing the eastern Slovak city's transit system into the 21st century with state-of-the-art equipment for servicing buses and other public vehicles.
