A young female driver has been charged with a criminal offense after crashing her car into a tree and later testing positive for alcohol at 1.2 promille. The woman first sought medical attention for injuries sustained in the accident before undergoing the breathalyzer test. Slovak police have filed criminal charges against the driver in connection with the incident. Under Slovak law, driving with a blood alcohol content of 1.0 promille or higher constitutes a criminal offense rather than a traffic violation, carrying potential penalties including imprisonment and license suspension.
