Railway operator Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko announced that train service between Bratislava and Marchegg, Austria, will be disrupted on May 15, 2025, due to reconstruction work on the rail line. The company informed passengers that selected trains on the route connecting Bratislava's main station through Devínska Nová Ves to the Austrian border town will be cancelled during the maintenance period. The Bratislava-Marchegg line serves as an important cross-border connection, linking Slovakia's capital with Austria's rail network and providing access to Vienna and other Austrian destinations.
