Slovak Government Allocates Over 2.9 Million Euros for Košice Region Municipalities and Organizations

The Slovak government has allocated more than 2.9 million euros for municipalities and organizations operating in the Košice region of eastern Slovakia. Approximately 2.3 million euros from this funding is designated for specific projects by local governments and organizations in the districts of Košice-okolie, Spišská Nová Ves, and Gelnica. The cabinet approved 41 separate tasks for various government ministries as part of this funding initiative. The Košice region, located in eastern Slovakia, includes the country's second-largest city and several surrounding rural districts that often require additional government support for local development projects and public services.
