Samuel Honzek, a Slovak hockey prospect, expressed optimism about his recovery after a challenging debut season with the Calgary Flames. The young player managed only 18 games before suffering a November injury that required surgery and ended his season early. Despite the setback, Honzek said he feels excellent and expects to return stronger. The injury prevented him from participating in any further games after his November surgery, cutting short what was meant to be his introduction to professional hockey in North America.
