Daniel Bombic Released from Pre-Trial Detention After Nearly One Year

Daniel Bombic was released from pre-trial detention on Tuesday after the Supreme Court of Slovakia ordered his release during a closed hearing. Neither Bombic nor his defense attorney attended the court session that decided his fate. Bombic left the Justice Palace building in Košice in the afternoon hours after spending nearly a year in custody.
