German goalkeeper Alexander Nübel has concluded his loan stint at VfB Stuttgart after the club proved unable to secure the finances needed to purchase him permanently from Bayern Munich. Nübel had been playing for Stuttgart on loan since summer 2023, helping the team compete in the Bundesliga. The financial constraints faced by Stuttgart prevented them from meeting Bayern Munich's asking price for the 28-year-old goalkeeper, forcing his return to the Bavarian giants where he remains under contract.
