Head-on collision near Jasov leaves road partially blocked, driver tests 1.48 blood alcohol level

A head-on collision between two vehicles occurred near Jasov, a town in eastern Slovakia's Košice region. One of the drivers involved in the crash tested positive for alcohol with a blood alcohol level of 1.48 promille, nearly three times Slovakia's legal driving limit of 0.5 promille. The road remains passable but with traffic restrictions in place as authorities manage the accident scene.
