Court Rules on Boundary Dispute Between Towns in Eastern Slovakia

Share:

The Regional Administrative Court in Košice issued a ruling on shifting the cadastral boundary between the municipality of Ľubica and the city of Kežmarok in eastern Slovakia. The dispute centers on a residential area built during the 1970s and 1980s, when Ľubica was still a district of Kežmarok rather than an independent municipality. The boundary adjustment affects the administrative control over this housing development, which was constructed during the communist era when the two settlements were unified under a single municipal administration.
