Prešov Region Tourism Organization Rebrands and Launches Travel Agency

The regional tourism organization in eastern Slovakia's Prešov Region has undergone a rebranding, changing its name to simply "Prešov Region" while launching its own travel agency operations. The organization announced it is strengthening both its marketing efforts and service offerings as part of the restructuring. The Prešov Region, which encompasses much of eastern Slovakia including areas around the country's second-largest metropolitan area of Košice, has been working to boost tourism development in recent years. The launch of an in-house travel agency represents an expansion beyond traditional promotional activities into direct tourism services.
