A historic tower at Košice Castle has reopened to the public following a 345,000-euro renovation project. The restored tower now features telescopes and architectural models, offering visitors enhanced viewing experiences of the city and educational displays about local buildings. Access to the tower will be free of charge but controlled through a turnstile system to manage visitor flow. The renovation represents a significant investment in preserving and improving one of eastern Slovakia's key historical attractions, making it more accessible to both residents and tourists visiting the country's second-largest city.
