Police Catch Six Drunk Drivers in Trenčín Region

Police in Slovakia's Trenčín region detained six drivers for operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol during recent enforcement operations. Two of the apprehended drivers registered blood alcohol levels exceeding one per mille, indicating severe intoxication. The Trenčín region, located in western Slovakia, has seen increased police attention to drunk driving as authorities work to reduce traffic accidents caused by alcohol impairment.
