The Athletics Integrity Unit has suspended American sprinter Fred Kerley for violating anti-doping regulations. The 100-meter world champion from the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon committed three violations within a 12-month period, according to the AIU statement. The Athletics Integrity Unit, which oversees drug testing and enforcement for World Athletics, handles disciplinary matters for international track and field competitions. Kerley won gold in the 100 meters at the 2022 championships held on home soil in the United States.
