Share:
Formula 1 officials announced modifications to the sport's hybrid power regulations in response to concerns raised by drivers. The changes reduce the amount of energy recovery that helps recharge the battery system from eight megajoules to seven megajoules, while increasing the power output of the hybrid power unit from 250 kilowatts to 350 kilowatts. The adjustments address driver feedback about the current hybrid technology system used in Formula 1 cars, which combines traditional combustion engines with electric motor assistance for improved performance and efficiency.
