Slovakia's digital identity card application eDoklady has been restored to full functionality after experiencing a technical outage on Wednesday. The Interior Ministry announced in the afternoon that programmers had successfully fixed a communication error between users and entities that verify the digital documents. The eDoklady app allows Slovak citizens to store digital versions of their identity documents on their mobile phones, serving as an alternative to physical ID cards for identification purposes.
