Former Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane has departed his coaching position with Hungarian club Ferencvaros, with Slovak champions Slovan Bratislava reportedly expressing interest in the football legend. Keane, widely regarded as one of Ireland's greatest strikers, holds the national records for both appearances and goals scored for his country. The 44-year-old former Tottenham, Liverpool and LA Galaxy forward transitioned into coaching after retiring from playing and had been working as an assistant coach with the Budapest-based club. Slovan Bratislava, who currently compete in both the Slovak top flight and European competitions, are now considering Keane as a potential addition to their coaching setup.
