WHO Chief Heads to Ebola-Hit Ituri Province in Democratic Republic of Congo

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is traveling to the Democratic Republic of Congo to personally address the ongoing Ebola epidemic and visit the most severely affected regions. The WHO chief's visit to Ituri province, one of the hardest-hit areas in the current outbreak, is intended to strengthen efforts to combat the deadly virus.
