Former Member of Sátorovcov Gang Allegedly Profited from Cigarette Business While in Prison

Kristián Kádár, a former member of the Sátorovcov criminal group, allegedly continued to profit from cigarette trafficking operations while serving time in prison, according to testimony from a defendant in a major drug case. The allegations have emerged as Kádár recently received a reduced sentence. The Sátorovcov gang was one of Slovakia's most notorious organized crime groups, known for violent crimes and extensive criminal enterprises in the 2000s and 2010s before being dismantled by police operations.
