Kazakhstan and Ukraine advance from Division I Group A to elite level

Kazakhstan and Ukraine have secured promotion from Division I Group A to the elite level of international ice hockey competition. Kazakhstan will return to the top-tier championship next year after a one-year absence, having been relegated from the elite level last year during the tournament held in Sweden and Denmark.
