Culture Minister Dismisses Directors of Major Cultural Institutions in Košice

Culture Minister Martina Šimkovičová has dismissed the directors of two major cultural institutions in Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city. The officials removed from their positions include the director of the East Slovak Museum (STM) and the head of the State Scientific Library in Košice (ŠVK), both key cultural institutions in the eastern Slovak region. The Ministry of Culture has not provided any public explanation for the dismissals, declining to comment on the reasons behind the personnel changes.
