Moya Brennan, the lead singer of the renowned Irish Celtic band Clannad, has died after battling pulmonary fibrosis in recent years. Known as the first lady of Celtic music, Brennan achieved international recognition both as the frontwoman of Clannad and through her successful solo career. The singer had been struggling with the progressive lung disease that gradually impairs breathing and lung function.
