Bratislava Region Advances Major Health and Sports Campus Project in Petržalka

The Bratislava Self-Governing Region has moved forward with the planned Health and Sports Campus project in Petržalka, one of Bratislava's largest districts. After more than five years of preparation, the project is entering its implementation phase, representing one of the region's largest historical investments. The campus is designed to transform approaches to sports, education, and health prevention in the Slovak capital. Petržalka, located on the south bank of the Danube River, is home to over 100,000 residents and is the most populous district in Slovakia. The project represents a significant infrastructure development for the Bratislava region, which governs areas surrounding the capital city and provides healthcare, education, and regional development services.
