Simonová wins mass start race in Kontiolahti, Bátovská Fialková finishes eighth

Slovak biathlete Simonová claimed victory in the mass start race in Kontiolahti, Finland. She made only one shooting error on the first prone stage and gradually worked her way to the front throughout the race. Fellow Slovak competitor Bátovská Fialková finished in eighth place in the same event.
