The festival, known as Clay Celebration - Ceramic Modra 2026, celebrates the traditional pottery craft that has made the town famous throughout Slovakia. Preparations for the event are currently underway, with organizers expecting the celebration to once again fill Modra's streets with displays of ceramic artistry. Modra has long been recognized as a center of Slovak pottery and ceramics, with its distinctive blue-and-white earthenware becoming a symbol of Slovak folk art and craftsmanship.
