Branislav Šmída has ended his tenure as director of the Slovak Cave Administration. Šmída made the decision to leave his position citing personal, family, and professional reasons. The Slovak Cave Administration manages the country's extensive network of caves, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites and popular tourist destinations such as the Domica and Ochtinská Aragonite caves.
