Czech Politicians and Influencers Playing Journalists, Making Real Reporting Harder, Says Prominent Czech Journalist

Czech politicians and influencers are increasingly bypassing traditional media by conducting their own interviews and creating content that mimics journalism, according to prominent Czech journalist Apolena Rychlíková. This trend is replacing traditional press conferences and limiting opportunities for real journalists to ask critical questions. Rychlíková discussed what she calls the "influencerization" of politics during a live broadcast, warning that this development is making genuine journalistic work significantly more difficult as politicians gain more control over their media narrative.
