Boat services on Štrbské Pleso lake to begin Friday, ski lifts resume weekend operations

Boat services on Štrbské Pleso, a popular mountain lake in Slovakia's High Tatras region, will commence operations on Friday. Cable car services in the area will also resume daytime operations starting Saturday, providing access to mountain hiking trails and scenic viewpoints for the spring and summer season. The chairlift to Lomnické sedlo will remain closed as an exception to the general resumption of services. The reopening marks the beginning of the warm-weather tourism season in one of Slovakia's premier mountain destinations, located in the Tatra National Park near the Polish border.
