New York Islanders Plan to Move Farm Team to Canada

The New York Islanders are planning to relocate their minor league affiliate team to Canada. If the NHL team receives approval, their farm team, currently known as the Bridgeport Islanders, would play their games at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. The Bridgeport Islanders currently serve as the developmental team for the New York Islanders' prospects and younger players in the American Hockey League system.
