Driver jailed after high-speed chase on highway tests positive for multiple drugs

A 31-year-old driver was arrested and jailed after police stopped him for reckless driving on the eastern section of Slovakia's D1 highway. The man, who was driving without a valid license, tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine, and cocaine during the traffic stop. He was also cited for excessive speeding during what police described as dangerous driving behavior on the major highway that connects Bratislava with eastern Slovakia.
