TANAP Authority Begins Repairs on Hiking Trail from Hrebienok to Rainer Hut After 2.5-Year Closure

Share:

The Tatra National Park (TANAP) administration has started repairs on the popular hiking trail connecting Hrebienok to Rainer Hut in Slovakia's High Tatras mountains. The trail has been closed to tourists for more than two and a half years. TANAP is Slovakia's oldest national park, established in 1949, and encompasses much of the High Tatras mountain range, which forms part of the border with Poland. The Hrebienok-Rainer Hut trail is a significant tourist route in the region, and its extended closure has limited access to one of the area's popular mountain destinations for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.
