Košice begins pothole repairs as warm asphalt production resumes

Road repair work begins this week in Košice as the city starts fixing potholes, sunken road sections and other defects on municipal roads and sidewalks. The repairs coincide with the resumption of warm asphalt mix production for the season. Crews will begin cutting out and removing damaged road sections and potholes on Monday, with actual asphalting work scheduled to start on Wednesday. The maintenance work will address various road surface problems that have accumulated on city-owned infrastructure throughout Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city and the main urban center of the eastern region.
