A 60-year-old elementary school on Školská Street in Michalovce has completed a major modernization project funded by European Union grants. The comprehensive renovation, which cost over 3.3 million euros, represents a significant infrastructure investment in the eastern Slovak city's education system. Michalovce, located in the Košice region near Slovakia's borders with Ukraine and Hungary, has benefited from EU structural funds aimed at improving educational facilities in less developed regions of the country.
