Bratislava's Petržalka District Plans Pedestrian Route Development for Lúky Area
Share:
Petržalka, Bratislava's largest district, is preparing a comprehensive concept for developing pedestrian routes in the Lúky neighborhood. The district has already completed similar pedestrian development concepts for two other areas within Petržalka - Háje and Dvory - and is now extending this planning approach to improve walkability in Lúky. The initiative represents part of broader efforts by local authorities to enhance pedestrian infrastructure and connectivity within Slovakia's most populous residential district, which houses over 100,000 residents across several large housing estate neighborhoods built during the communist era.
