Construction of Košice Bypass Continues as Highway Authority Launches 160-Million-Euro Tender

Slovakia's National Motorway Company (NDS) has announced a new tender for the next section of the Košice bypass project, valued at over 160 million euros. The highway authority, which manages Slovakia's motorway network, also confirmed plans to invest in road surface repairs throughout 2024. The Košice bypass is part of Slovakia's broader infrastructure development program aimed at reducing traffic congestion around the country's second-largest city, located in the eastern region near the Hungarian border.
