A major drug trafficking trial known as the Krone 2 case has been scheduled for the fall, involving defendants accused of smuggling and selling approximately 2.7 tons of cocaine and 3.48 tons of hashish. The case represents one of the largest drug trafficking operations to come before Slovak courts, with the defendants facing charges related to the international smuggling and distribution of massive quantities of narcotics. The scheduling of the trial marks a significant step forward in prosecuting what appears to be a major organized crime operation involving multi-ton shipments of illegal drugs.
