Million-Euro Repair Project to Close Cycling Route Under Bikoš Mountain Due to Falling Rocks

A cycling route beneath Bikoš Mountain in eastern Slovakia will be completely closed for a major repair project costing over one million euros to address the ongoing problem of falling rocks. The section has posed safety risks to cyclists and pedestrians due to unstable rock formations on the mountainside. The extensive renovation work will aim to secure the rocky slopes and make the popular recreational route safe for public use again.
