Tax Authority Chief Denies Political Targeting in Langos Stand Investigation

The head of Slovakia's Financial Administration, Jozef Kiss, rejected accusations that his agency is being used for political purposes in a tax investigation involving a langos stand owner. Kiss stated that the tax authority will not conduct a "witch hunt" simply because the owner of the traditional fried bread stand has spoken out publicly about the case. He emphasized that if the investigation reveals any wrongdoing by the tax office, the agency will address it appropriately.
