Direct flights from Košice to Rome begin operations

A new direct flight route connecting Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city and the main hub of eastern Slovakia, with Rome has commenced operations. The carrier said the new connection will provide residents of eastern Slovakia and neighboring regions with convenient and efficient access to one of Europe's most popular destinations. The route represents an expansion of international connectivity for Košice International Airport, which serves the eastern part of the country and cross-border areas.
