Langos Prices in Bratislava Rise to Nearly 9 Euros as Vendors Experiment with New Fillings

Share:

Langos, the popular Hungarian-style fried flatbread, now costs up to 8.90 euros at some vendors in Bratislava and surrounding areas, marking a significant price increase for the traditional street food. Vendors are experimenting with innovative fillings beyond the classic sour cream and cheese combinations, including gyros meat and bryndza, a traditional Slovak sheep cheese. The price variations reflect both the rising costs of ingredients and the growing popularity of gourmet versions of the traditional snack, which has become a staple at Slovak markets and food stands.
