Churches in Michalovce to Hold Joint Ecumenical Passion Procession

Churches in the eastern Slovak city of Michalovce will unite for a traditional ecumenical Passion procession through the city center. The event continues a tradition that began in 2004, bringing together different Christian denominations to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ during the Easter season. Michalovce, located in the Košice region near the Ukrainian border, has maintained this interfaith cooperation for nearly two decades as part of its Holy Week observances.
