Košice Region Approves 3.8 Million Euro Investment Package for Multiple Districts

The Košice Self-Governing Region has approved a new round of investment projects worth 3.8 million euros, with funding distributed across several districts within the region. The regional government, which oversees the eastern Slovak region centered on the country's second-largest city, continues its infrastructure and development spending program. Self-governing regions in Slovakia are responsible for managing regional development, education facilities, healthcare institutions, and transportation infrastructure within their territories, funded through a combination of state transfers and regional budgets.
