TANAP Closes Green-Marked Hiking Trail Due to Slope Repairs

The Tatra National Park administration has closed the green-marked hiking trail between Bilíková Hut and Rainerova Hut due to slope stabilization work following a landslide. The closure affects one of the marked routes in Slovakia's premier mountain national park, which encompasses the High Tatras mountain range along the Polish border. TANAP, established in 1949, manages hiking infrastructure and safety in the region, regularly closing trails for maintenance and repairs to ensure visitor safety in the mountainous terrain.
