Construction of a cycling route in the village of Vlkanová is approaching completion, with additional phases currently in preparation. The project forms part of a broader regional initiative to establish a comprehensive cycling network connecting the central Slovak cities of Banská Bystrica and Zvolen. The Banská Bystrica Region, which oversees the project, aims to create a full-scale cycling route that would link these two important regional centers through a series of connected segments.
