European Union sees no immediate risk to winter gas supplies

The European Union does not currently perceive any immediate threats to natural gas supplies for the upcoming winter season. Gas storage facilities across the bloc are expected to reach approximately 80 percent capacity by the end of summer. This storage level would provide sufficient reserves to meet winter heating and energy demands, suggesting that the EU has successfully diversified its energy sources and built up adequate reserves following previous supply disruptions.
