Slovak volleyball players Ihnát and Šepeľová have successfully defended their titles as Volleyball Player of the Year 2025 in Slovakia's annual sports awards. The 29-year-old Ihnát achieved this recognition for the third consecutive year, cementing his status as the country's leading male volleyball player. Šepeľová similarly retained her title as the top female volleyball player in Slovakia. The annual volleyball awards recognize the outstanding performances of Slovak players both domestically and internationally throughout the previous season.
